Toyota Motor Philippines has lauched the new and improved Toyota Wigo today, June 15, 2020. Aside from its new face, some other features like push start button were added to the G variant to please its new buyers. A new variant which is the TRD-S were also added to the model line-up.

The 1.0-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine capable of 65hp at 6,000rpm and up to 89Nm of torque at 4,400rpm same as the previous model was retained. It comes with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission.

The new model has more aggressive look on the outside, with redesigned interior and seats. Higher end variants comes with added back sensor and back camera. A touchscreen infotainment system, digital A/C, keyless entry and push start ignition is also available for the higher end variants. The TRD-S features an ANDROID auto and Apple Carplay system. It also has TRD wrap around skirts and TRD logo written on the side.
